Casa Mezcal’s visual identity was developed to translate the warmth and spirit of Mexican hospitality into a cohesive brand system that works across physical space, digital channels, and marketing. The branding process focused on refining the restaurant’s personality as a vibrant “third place” where food, culture, and social life intersect. This included defining the visual language, brand voice, and design framework used across menus, signage, social media, and promotional materials. The identity draws inspiration from contemporary Mexican aesthetics while balancing approachability and sophistication, allowing Casa Mezcal to feel both authentic and aspirational to a broad North American audience.
Alongside the core brand development, the project expanded into a full rollout strategy supporting the launch of Casa Mezcal’s flagship presence in the U.S. market. The social media approach combined editorial-style photography with a distinctive visual tone—soft lighting, glamorous compositions, subtle film grain, and a nostalgic 90s-chic sensibility—to create content that feels more like lifestyle storytelling than traditional restaurant marketing. This visual system was paired with a 4-walls marketing strategy that integrates the brand experience directly into the physical environment through signage, in-venue promotions, and guest touchpoints. The result is a unified identity where the atmosphere inside the restaurant, the imagery online, and the broader marketing narrative all reinforce Casa Mezcal as a stylish, culturally rooted destination for food, drinks, and social gathering.
